2D Shooter Roguelite Neon Null Drops Free Steam Demo, Seeks Player Feedback

A new 2D shooter roguelite, Neon Null, has officially launched its demo on Steam, inviting players to dive into a “shattered cosmos” and offer their insights ahead of the game's full release. Developed by a small, new indie studio, the game focuses on intense, reflex-driven gameplay and is now available for Windows, Mac, and Linux.

Neon Null promises short, high-octane runs where survival hinges on quick reflexes and precision. Players will navigate a challenging world, with each defeat designed to offer a new lesson, pushing them further into the game’s unknown depths. The roguelite structure ensures that every attempt presents a fresh opportunity to adapt and overcome its unique challenges.

The project represents an “incredible journey” for its sole developer, who has been working on the game nonstop since December of last year. This individual is supported by three friends who manage outreach, feedback collection, and overall organization, forming a lean team dedicated to crafting engaging and lasting experiences for players.

With the demo now live, the development team is keen to gather comprehensive feedback—the good, the bad, and everything in between. They are particularly interested in player suggestions and ideas for future content, aiming to leverage community input to refine Neon Null and ensure it lives up to its full potential.
