DMCA & Takedown Requests

Last updated: 28 March 2026

Our approach

PixelWave aggregates and rewrites publicly available indie game news. We always link back to original sources and aim to drive traffic to the publications and communities we cover. We respect intellectual property rights and respond promptly to valid takedown requests.

If you want content removed

If you are a copyright holder (or authorised agent) and believe content on PixelWave infringes your rights, please email us with:

  • The URL(s) on PixelWave you want removed
  • The original content URL that is being infringed
  • Your name, role, and contact information
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised

We aim to respond within 48 hours and will remove or modify content promptly where the request is valid.

For game developers & publishers

If you are a game developer or publisher and would prefer your game not be covered on PixelWave, or you want specific articles, images, or metadata removed, simply email us. No formal DMCA notice is required — we will honour reasonable requests from rights holders.

For news publishers

If you are a news publisher and would prefer we do not aggregate your content, let us know and we will exclude your publication from our sources. We can also discuss alternative arrangements such as enhanced attribution or canonical linking.
