Cosmodrill
Solo dev releases public playtest for space mining game Cosmodrill on PC, Mac, and Linux
Cosmodrill, an open-world space mining game, has entered its public playtest phase. Developed by a solo creator, the game allows players to drill through planets and asteroids in search of resources, which can then be used to upgrade their ship and explore further into space.
The playtest features three of the five biomes that will be accessible in the final version of the game, offering a glimpse into the varied environments players will encounter. These biomes are home to diverse planets, ancient monuments, and black holes, as well as dangers such as monsters and pirate ships.
Players can access the playtest on Steam, with the game currently available as a demo. The solo developer is actively involved in the game's development and release, seeking feedback from the community to shape the final product.
With its mix of exploration, resource management, and combat, Cosmodrill aims to offer a unique experience for fans of space-themed games. As the game progresses through its development, players can expect to see additional biomes, features, and content added to the final release.
