Cubalance Hits Steam

A solo developer has hit a major milestone with their game, Cubalance, now live on Steam. To mark the occasion, they've 3D printed the game's cube protagonists and plan to print more based on wishlist numbers.

Cubalance is a physics-based arcade puzzler inspired by the 2000 cult classic Swing. The game features a unique board made of seesaws that adapt to the weight of the cubes, with players matching colors to increase their score. The game will have multiple modes, including Endless, Adventure, and Local Multiplayer, as well as a built-in level editor.

The developer has made a deal with their husband to print one cube for every wishlist the game gets during its first week after launch, with the goal of printing at least 15 more to fill a 'pipe-like' seesaw in the game. Players can check out the Steam page and wishlist the game to help the developer reach their goal.

The game's Steam page is now live, and the developer plans to post a follow-up photo next week to show the final 'Army of Wishlists' result. With a passion project like Cubalance now available for wishlisting, it will be interesting to see how the community responds to this unique puzzle game.

As the game approaches its release, the developer's enthusiasm and dedication to their project are clear. Whether or not they reach their wishlist goal, Cubalance is certainly a game to watch in the indie gaming scene.
