Cryptographic thriller game with a mini trailer and Steam page
A developer has shared a mini trailer for False Echo, a cryptographic thriller game where players take on the role of a Cryptographic Officer on a submarine.
The game features an alternate history with real historical events, a cat and mouse play between nations, and a spy onboard the submarine. Players will use an Obscura machine to encrypt or decrypt messages and an ECHO Stamper to verify their authenticity.
However, things get complicated as each of the 40 crew members has their own agenda, wishes, needs, and fears, and players must navigate these complex relationships to progress. The game is now on Steam and a demo version is in the works.
