Sublight
Sublight, a space survivor-like game, has been updated with a new trailer and two new ships based on community feedback.
Sublight, a space combat game that combines elements of survivor-like and bullet heaven genres, has been updated with a new trailer and two new ships following feedback from the indie gaming community.
The game, which features space sim elements like weapon placement and firing arcs, as well as roguelike upgrades, has been in development by a solo dev for some time.
The updated trailer addresses concerns from players that the old trailer was too slow, and the addition of two new ships adds to the game's replay value. The game is currently available on Windows and Linux, with controller and Steamdeck support, although the dev notes that this still needs improvement.
Sublight will be featured in NextFest this week, with a demo available to play, which will remain live after the event. Players can find more information about the game on its Steam page.
The solo dev behind Sublight is encouraging feedback from players, although notes that it may take some time to respond to all comments given their solo status.
